Fred said it's time to start blogging again. Let's start with yesterday.
We took the Shelby and went to check on a job in the Malibu hills. I just went to look for celebrities. Last time I went with Fred to a job in Malibu we saw Harrison Ford. As I live and breathe, he drove right past us. But no celebs today, not even Speidi.
It was a wonderful day and the weather was perfect. It's a longer drive than you think, but I guess if you're driving home to Malibu, the trip is worth it. Fred raced up the hill and back down it when we were done. He just had to look at some rebar that was laid down before they pour concrete tomorrow. It's a big big house being built on the side of the hill. It's going to be built on concrete stilts. Some Aussies pulled up behind us and asked if there were any celebrities around the area and the concrete guy just said no. I wanted to talk to them, they were so darn cute with their accents and their tattoos. Called everybody Mate. No one's ever called Fred "Mate" before. Better than Old Zealand, not as good as New Zealand.
On the way back we stopped off at the Getty Villa, but they were closing. It seems to be our fate in life, to pull into places as they close. They gave us an attractive pamphlet. Then we stopped a bit later on the other side of the highway at the Adamson House. This was a well-hidden treasure, like a miniature Hearst Castle. Every surface was glazed with Malibu potteries. It was so so pretty. But, shockingly, we got there as they closed. But we walked around the park and looked in the windows a little bit. We'll come back.
Then we ate swordfish, ribs and grilled artichokes at Houston's. Followed by splitting brownie and an apple thing. That was ALL good. I don't remember much after that.
Is this what people who don't have kids do all day?

Yes, it is my dream that people who don't have kids do that all day.
