Go to Work with Uncle Fred Day

Today I went to San Diego with Fred to look at another job. On the way there and back we got to see tanks and helicopters in Camp Pendleton. Looking really cool, going very fast. I love those guys.
Fred and Sam Crawford had to take 136 cylinders out of the big hole that will be a 4 story-down and 5-storie above ground building. The Thomas Jefferson School of Law (Where they found mammoth bones, the only in San Diego County). They lifted the whole box of cylinders from four stories down up by crane to the street level where we were, then used a forklift to move the box nearer the truck so we could put the cylinders in the back of the truck. Of course you don't get to see me schlepping all those cylinders up into the truck because no one took pictures of me working. I'll have to get Sam to sign and affidavit. Ha ha. But here are pictures of them breaking rules by throwing stuff.
Then we dusted off, drove around Balboa Park for a while, looking around and stopped and had some street tacos and beers at one of the downtown bars because, well, it was Cinco de Drinko. Watched baseball and had fun. The drive home was fun. I sure enjoy hanging out with Fred. I always have, but he's really my buddy.
We came home and laid around and ate pot roast and watched TV. Fred fixed the backyard counter and sink. He's a helper. Now I'm pretending to go to bed.
I like blogging. Good night.
