The minute Fred was done with his chemo treatment on Monday we left for Las Vegas so he could go to a gun show there with his dad. Then Greg (Michele's husband) went with Jim to the gun show the day we left. Jim's a popular guy.
We stayed in his mom and dad's amazing motorhome (THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!) that Greg had Jim park in their driveway because they had four extra people staying with their family of six. Let me tell you something, that is the plushest motorhome I have ever been in. And I've spent some time in some really nice ones. If there was a scale, it would be a ten - our trailer would be about a three, plush-wise. Now, I love our trailer because I can just about hose it out when we are done having all the guys and dogs tramp through there. I do use a leaf blower to clean it. It's like a really well-appointed garage. And my bed is very nice, mostly because I don't let any of those knuckleheads up on there. Except for Fred.
So I didn't go to the gun show, but I stayed with Michele and her kids. It was so much fun. Michele is a really good blogger, so you can click on this link and see how much fun I had. I did crafting with them in my pajamas in the morning and I did crafting with them in the evening (you can see my glass of wine).

I cannot imagine having all those kids. They are really good but there are so many of them. I was so tired when we left Wednesday morning that I slept about half the way home, then I slept about 11 hours last night. Good thing Fred doesn't sleep much the first few nights of chemo. I slept for him. He's still doing very well. Because the doctor has cranked his chemo up a little each time, he is having a little bit more discomfort afterwards, but not that much, if he's telling the truth. I think if it were you or I, it'd just about kill us.

We had such a good time when you were here. Glad to hear the kids wore you out, because I am that worn out every day and if you woould have bounced out of here, I would have had to kill myself. I was actually channeling you for help on Saturday.
"Help me, Jodie. Help me."
Hope Fred is feeling good! I totally believe you that we would never be able to take it. Fred is amazing.
Love, love, love the picture.
