We are so crazy busy at work, I just come home and lay on the floor with the dogs. Then I make it up to the bed with the dogs. And work brought home sometimes. These times I am happy that my girls are big and get their own drinks of water nowadays. They would die of thirst and starvation. I am also sad that I have no time or energy for Lucy, but I know I will soon. I ignore IMs, emails, phone calls. And no vacation this summer. Sniff.
We are having a "management consulting and business development" firm go over our business (and us) with a fine-toothed comb. We are so busy answering questions and making manuals and finding out what the hell we do over there. I didn't even know. They are going to help us, "a small- or medium-sized business, maintain positive cash flow, control costs and accelerate profitable growth, allowing us, the entrepreneurs and managers to make the most of our work and our lives." Ho, ho, that's rich!
