It's a light and tumble journey from the East Side to the Park.

We arrived at JFK this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Perfectly beautiful weather, like 70 degrees. Lookit the tourists!!! We got a killer deal at the W Hotel on Times Square. I mean literally at Broadway and 42nd Street! We're on the 52nd floor so we look down on the famous Coca Cola sign. It's amazing. myspace.com pictures from Manhattan. OMG. Tonight we went on a night time tour of New York City and saw the city all in lights. We went down to Brooklyn and saw all the little neighborhoods along the way and looked at the Statue of Liberty lit up in the middle of the water while the tour guide recited Walt Whitman to us. I liked it. We've bought a hop-on and-off bus pass that unfortunately uses embarassing double-decker busses. But what can be done? Tomorrow we will go around and see what else there is to see here and plan to get off the bus a lot and walk and look and eat. Tonight we stopped for a slice at Familigia's Pizza. It was really really good. The bellhop told us where the good pizza is and he was right. I just can't stop singing Paul Simon songs. We love downtown Los Angeles and this is 100 times sparklier.
