February
This weekend Stephanie had all four wisdom teeth removed. Poor baby. They were all impacted. She's pretty recovered now, but I figure you might as well use up all that vicodin, and she's really cuddly that way. She doesn't have a class until 10:30 in the morning, art history.
Daisy got in trouble on Friday. She took the bag containing the guinea pig's pellets AND the litter that you spread in the cage and apparently spun around the patio with it until emptied like a rainbird sprinkler. In fact the patio looked like the bottom of the guinea pig's cage, frankly. She's fun. She also moves the firewood from the firewood pile to their dog bed. Whole, giant, logs. She's very busy.
Katie had her appointment with her neurologist at UCLA and we left without any new wonder drug. Not a surprise. She wants Katie to keep up with the accupuncture and the TMJ treatments. Those treatments, along with the medicine she's taking now, seems to keep her from any major migraines. She's a little better with the chronic daily headaches. The new school has been SOOO great about understanding her headaches. Sheesh. She and Stephanie remodelled her bedroom. Took out her loft bed and put in a day bed. Very nice.
We went to San Francisco for the weekend three weeks ago and had the most fun. We drove out to the Jelly Belly factory and it was surprisingly cool. We ate at Francis Ford Coppola's cafe and it was excellent.
Then Fred and I went on a tour of San Francisco by Segway. How uncool is that??? Well pretty uncool. If the segway part isn't bad enough, why don't we pop helmets and yellow safety vests and have them go in a line with old people? Luckily we discovered that the segway tour place was next to the Buena Vista, so we chugged a couple Irish Coffees before and after. Though not legal or even wise, it made it more fun.
