Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower

We drove from Hyannisport up to Plymouth. To see the rock. We stopped at every yard sale and dairy bar along the way. Dairy bars are small ice cream shops or shacks. When we got to Plymouth, there was an exact replica of the Mayflower, built in 1956. The original Mayflower went back to England in 1621. But we took a tour of this amazing ship that is run and filled with people that love it's history so much. It was very fun! We saw the Plymouth Rock and it was very cool. It's still in the same place, but they've built a kind of columned overhang number to keep it out of reach of the dumb dumbs. Plus it looks pretty regal now. And it's all outside still, which most national treasures aren't anymore, I think.
