7-25-06 New Orleans LA to Baton Rouge LA

This is Chigger. Him runs the St James Boat Club and tri-parish meeting building. they got a ramp so's you can drop your boat into the water without having to hardly get out of your rig. You really have to watch for alligators, thought. Then can run faster on land than a man for the first 20 or so feet. Can you see the alligators swimming around in the river right next to where we are standing on the boat launch? Very exciting! Now, a few years back an 80 foot tanker went off the road and sank right in the Blind River. The company what owned the rig fished out the semi and the tanker and cleaned up the damage. Then to say sorry to them all, bought and install this here children's playground right next the boat ramp where the alligators come out and sun themselves on land. Chigger's the parish' overseer for the boat club, the dance and dinner hall and the petting zoo he set up himself. Some of the deer and wild goats would just come on up, so he put fences up to keep them. The other deer and goats will come over to visit all the time. He was so glad to see us. He'd just finishing decorating for a big Mexican-themed party they wanted him to throw. He was gonna call it a fiesta and went out on that interweb catalog companies and they helped him to buy all kinds of crazy Mexican supplies. Sombreros, serapes and pinatas. It looked great and he wanted us to see. Chigger's alligator farm and childen's playground was a big part or our day today. I hope someday we see him again.
