7-15-06 Atlanta GA

Well, we took the red-eye to Atlanta and landed there about 10 a.m. We got our car and cruised around Atlanta, looking at downtown (not so good) and the historic places (very good). Fabulous houses and cemetaries. We saw a gajillion people standing in line at the Coca Cola Building and figured it must be some kind of bottling plant tour or something. As we walked by, we saw that it was only a museum! I mean there were a hundred people standing in that 95 degree/85 percent humidity!!! Forget that. We stayed in Marietta, just outside of Atlanta, in the yuckiest hotel we'll stay in on this trip. But we were soooooooooo tired so we frankly didn't care.
